Welcome! Bienvenidos!

Campo Cuttica Art Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization situated within a Peconic Land Trust nature preserve in Southampton, New York. Established in 2018 by Argentinean-American artist Eugenio, his wife Ruth Keudell de Cuttica and their family, the foundation brings together artist residencies, exhibitions, and ecological awareness across 40-acres of ponds, meadows, and restored historic farm structures. Our mission is to support emerging and established artists by offering housing, studio space, and mentorship in an environment where creativity, nature, and wellness converge.

At the center of the property is our 1,800 sq. ft. main gallery, originally a mid-century duck-farm building now reimagined as a space for exhibitions, performances, and installation work. Surrounding it are nine artist studios and dedicated living spaces, providing residents the opportunity to develop new work immersed in a landscape that encourages focus, experimentation, and collaboration.

Campo Cuttica is also home to the Cuttica artists—Eugenio, Lautaro, and Franco—whose practices span painting, architecture, and large-scale environmental sculpture. Alongside them, the foundation has presented exhibitions featuring notable regional and international artists including Doug Reina, Jack Henry, ByeongDoo Moon, Paton Miller, Yudel Francisco Crux, Kerry Sharkey-Miller, Georgia Suter, Lucy de Kooning, Lainey Marra, among others, positioning Campo Cuttica as a growing cultural hub on the East End where art, landscape, and human experience intersect.

Legacy:

The legacy of Campo Cuttica lies not only in stewarding the nature preserve the foundation sits on, but also to maintain the legacy of the late great Gloria Kisch, former owner of the property. Her sculptures proudly remain a part of the building design of the main house, gallery, and the pool deck.

Our mission:

Campo Cuttica advances the creation, study, and presentation of contemporary art through a program of residencies, exhibitions, and public engagement set within a unique natural landscape. The foundation is committed to supporting artists at all stages of their careers by providing time, space, and mentorship to develop new work in dialogue with the environment.

Through its gallery, studios, and outdoor installation areas, Campo Cuttica fosters experimentation across disciplines and encourages thoughtful exchange among artists, audiences, and the surrounding community. Guided by a belief in the transformative relationship between art and nature, the foundation seeks to cultivate a site where creativity, contemplation, and cultural inquiry converge.
